If it’s an emergency a call is always the best way for us to help you with your plumbing and heating issue as quickly as possible

Our appointment slots are divided into morning (8am-12pm) and afternoon (12pm-5pm), with engineers arriving within those hours. This is due to the potential for jobs to go beyond their scheduled time

However, we’ll keep you informed of any change and make every effort to work around your schedule

Quint Heating’s business hours are Mon-Sat 7am-7pm. If you call outside these hours, we’ll make an effort to respond as soon as we open. Existing customers can access our emergency service by leaving a voicemail, which is monitored by a team member during non-business hours

When scheduling a quote or job with us, we’ll take down your full name, address, and issue. We’ll also collect your phone number and email for appointment and quote confirmation via text and email

We also process all our payments via email

If you have an annual boiler service or are on any of our plans, we’ll send you annual reminders via text, phone, and email

Heating Charges

How much does Quint Heating Charge?

We don’t charge a call-out fee for visiting your home or business. However, we have a minimum “aim to fix” charge of £99, which covers one hour of service plus materials. VAT is included, except for business customers. If the problem requires more than an hour, we charge in 30-minute increments.

Our goal is to provide a fixed quotation, but in emergency situations it may not be possible. We’ll explain and follow up with written confirmation

For bigger projects, a 50% deposit is required, with the balance due upon completion. For other jobs, payment is due at the end of the work. You can pay the engineer directly or pay by phone before they leave by calling the office

A payment link and bank details will be included on the invoice sent after completion. Bank transfer is also acceptable. Cheques are only accepted in exceptional cases

We offer a flexible payment option with our Quint Heating Service Plans, allowing you to make low, convenient payments and never miss a boiler service

We do charge for diagnosing a boiler breakdown. Our engineer will attend your property and use their expertise to diagnose the issue. They’ll then provide you with the most cost-effective solution to repair your boiler, with a fixed cost

For plumbing and heating services, we offer a written quote to give you clarity and certainty on the cost. This way, you can make an informed decision without any surprise charges. Certain services, such as boiler servicing and gas safety checks, have fixed rates

Our engineers are fully qualified, experienced plumbing and heating specialists and are registered with Gas Safe. They are insured for up to £5 million under Quint Heating’s public liability insurance for your peace of mind

All of our engineers at Quint Heating are part of our in-house team, ensuring accountability and consistency in the service you receive. We match their expertise to specific jobs and aim to send the same engineer to your home for each job, fostering a strong relationship and earning your trust

Quint Heating is Gas Safe registered, WIAPS Approved Plumbers and WaterSafe registered.

What brands do we service and install?

We service most boiler brands. Just tell us your brand and we’ll let you know if we can service it. Older boilers are also serviceable, we’ll advise when you call.

We also offer commercial boiler servicing. Just inquire and we’ll be happy to help

We install most leading boiler brands, with a focus on Worcester Bosch, Ideal, and Baxi boilers. At Quint Heating, we aim to provide you with a quality installation, complete with warranty and Gas Safe registrations by our engineers, so your boiler is covered and installed to regulations.

If you have a budget for your installation, we’ll provide the best advice on available boilers and their warranties

After a home survey for a new boiler, bathroom, or other plumbing and heating work, you’ll receive a quote via email. Expect the quote within 3 business days. Bathroom quotes may take a bit longer, up to 5 business days. If there’s a delay, one of our office team will contact you.
